Recurring reminders that arrive with the answer
A bare "change the filter" is not enough. In Specsy a reminder is tied to the card, so you see straight away what has to be replaced, in what size, which model and whatever else is on it.
Two kinds of reminder
Some things are replaced on a schedule: the filter in a vacuum cleaner once a month. Others simply run out as you use them, like dishwasher tablets.
Either way Specsy works from your real pace. You set how often it needs replacing, and the app works out when to remind you.
What you can set a reminder for
- Air and water filters, on their replacement interval
- Batteries in detectors, once a year on a date you pick
- Kids sizes, a nudge to measure again in a few months
- A coffee machine or a kettle, when it is time to descale or change the filter
- Consumables, based on how long a pack usually lasts you
- A warranty, flagged early while you can still use it
- And anything else at all that lives in your Specsy library
